Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of wandr. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use wandr.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use wandr, and you must provide accurate account information.

Your account

You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Usernames are unique; choose one that doesn't impersonate someone else.

Your content

You keep ownership of the places, photos, notes, and other content you add. You grant wandr a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, display, and share that content as needed to operate the app — for example, showing a place you post to people who follow you. You're responsible for having the rights to anything you upload.

Acceptable use

Don't post content that is illegal, explicit or pornographic, hateful, harassing, deceptive, or that infringes others' rights, and don't misuse the service (spam, scraping, abuse, or attempts to break security). There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.

Copyright complaints

If you believe content on wandr infringes your copyright, email Wandr.social@gmail.com with: the work you own, where the content appears in the app, your contact information, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you own the work and the use is unauthorized. We remove infringing content and terminate the accounts of repeat infringers. If your content was removed by mistake, reply with a counter-notice and we will review it.

Moderation, reporting, and enforcement

Uploaded images are automatically screened for explicit content, and you can report content, report a traveler, or block someone from anywhere their content appears in the app. We review every report and act on it — removing the content and, where warranted, suspending or terminating the account behind it.

wandr+ membership, billing and cancellation

wandr is free to use. wandr+ is an optional paid membership offered as a monthly subscription, an annual subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. The current price and billing period are always shown on the membership screen in the app before you buy, in your local currency (taxes may be added at checkout where applicable). Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, not by us, and are charged to the payment method on your store account at confirmation. Monthly and annual memberships renew automatically at the same price for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends; your store account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. If the price of a plan ever changes, we will tell you in advance, and an increase applies to an existing subscription only as your store’s rules permit. The lifetime option is a single payment and does not renew; “lifetime” means the lifetime of the wandr service — it lasts as long as wandr operates and ends only if the service is permanently discontinued or your account is terminated for violating these terms. You can view, manage, or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings — cancelling stops future renewals and keeps your membership until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting the app or deleting your wandr account does not cancel a subscription — cancel it in your store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, not by us. The app also offers optional tips: a tip is a voluntary thank-you processed by Apple or Google, unlocks no features or membership, and follows the store’s own refund policies. If a membership benefit changes materially, we will tell you before it takes effect.

Termination

You may stop using wandr and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these terms or to protect the service or other users.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

wandr is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, wandr is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and travel decisions you make based on the app are your own.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold wandr and its operator harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of content you post, your use of the service, or your violation of these terms, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves; we'll update the date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
